In 2025, KitchenAid extended its partnership with Jennifer Garner by bringing her beloved Pretend Cooking Show On The Road back to a meaningful place — her childhood kitchen.

Collaborating closely with Jen’s family, the creative team carefully examined old photographs of the family’s kitchen from her childhood home, then teamed up with award-winning production company Baby Lion to translate that research into a faithful recreation.

It wasn’t only Jen who got to revisit the space; she was accompanied by her mother for the reveal. Together they spent more than an hour in the recreated kitchen, studying the many accurate details that echoed the original and sharing warm memories and stories connected to the room. There was not a dry eye on set that day.

After experiencing the kitchen in all of it’s detail, it was time for them to recreate a recipe of Jen’s childhood - cowboy cookies.
